New Addition - With Approval from Douglas!

A new addtion to the doug-the-pug blog was finalized today- of course with approval from Doug. Doug has decided to add some music to his blog today. The song we added today was "Kingston", by (coincidently) Sean Kingston. I hope it is enjoyed.

Now with adding this clip of music, thoughts of possible offenses ran through my head. That being said I will be changing the song quite often, as well as the genre.
Please note that tracks with profanity will not be posted. Please people dont think of the current song as an offensive clip. Music is art- do paintings offend you?

I would also like to note that I will be adding a picture of the week. This picture will be of course dog-fashion, or dog related. I will publishing my first picture right after this post. Please enjoy.

Voice of Dogs

Who is necessarily the "voice" for dogs any ways? Who really makes the political decisions that governs our pooches rights? The answer to that question is simple- it's YOU, and me, and cousin Bob, and Earl, and Billy, and everyone! That being said we need to understand what is needed, and what really goes on behind closed doors. Regardless of what anyone says- a dog abuse case is just as important as a domestic violence case. Here are the reasons why I believe this-

1.) A dog can feel that punch just like she did, and it'll bruise just like hers did.

2.) That dogs head is full of fear- just like hers is.

3.) That dog is just as low to him, as she is to her abuser.

4.) The need for dominance is present in both scenarios.

5.) Poochy will be forever scarred just as she would be.

Not only is it unsafe for the abused dog, or the abused woman- but it is unsafe for the community, and the kids in the house. As stated in my elaboration, the need for dominance is present in the abusers thoughts. The abuser obviously has some mental issues, and needs phsyciatric help.

We need to speak for them- as they cannot speak for themselves. Call your local polititions, and request information regarding your state, county or city laws pertaining to animal rights. Act before another innocent soul is lost! Tell your local polititions about animal abuse problems, and explain the reality. You talk, they'll listen!

It is most commonly thought that an animal isn't as important as a human- but I highly disbelieve that. Your right to live is just the same as that damn dogs right to live- and it wont change!

Doug's Opinion - "Designer Dogs"

Designer dogs is a new fad, and to say the least- a fad that has grown out of proportion. Designer dogs is two purebred dogs crossed to produce offspring for a particular purpose. A Labradoodle was established breeding a lab and a standard poodle. This cross was thought of to create offspring that wouldn't shed, or at least shed very little.

What has been thought of to be a help to the dog community has began to be a fraudalent welfare bums new source of income. What the hoo is a "peek-pomm", and what purpose does it serve? What it is, is an attempt to copy a "labradoodle", or a "puggle"! A common cross I see is a "peek-a-poo", first thing the name sounds pretty dumb, and secondly why was the cross needed?

What these ignorant people dont understand is crossing a dog with a nose such as a pekignese, and a poodle with a normal nose is completely ignorant. The only thing in mind is that these dogs can be sold for $600 because your city dwellers know only diddly on the stability of breeding genetics, and think they are getting a classy animal, when the truth us they just bought a mutt who is going to have health problems down the road.

Designer dogs is bologna, and the breeders of designer dogs have only one thing coming for them, and thats bad darn karma! So for all of you people sucked into a bad deal at that dump on the corner of 1st street and Maple street, god bless you and your designer dog.

Buying Dog Clothes

The dog fashion industry is a rapidly growing, and mega-popular. It is often thought of as a pitiful business. Although it is not known that many people find dog clothes a nessecity within their household. Buying dog clothes can be as difficult or as simple as you make it. Whether you are shopping on the internet or a Gucci outlet. Finding the right dog clothes can be tricky to the simple minded, or the fashion blank person. Buying cheap-o dog clothes from the christmas tree shop is easy and economical but your paying for crap- and for a minimal amount more you can get a life time wear out of it. Remember dogs age much faster than we do!

4 Keys to Buying Dog Clothes

1.) Quality - Dont buy something that looks like it was

made by slaves in north korea, make sure it looks like it was

made with quality, and the intentions were not quantity.

2.) Legit - Make sure it isn't a fake. Oh- they sure can do it

it. Dont underestimate them! Make sure if it says Gucci- its GUCCI!

3.) Livability - If your paying money for it, make sure it is

going to last. A short lived product isn't worth any price, but free!

4.) Consistency - Observe that all of the specified qualities are

there and not missing! Use your best instinct!

So in a nutshell- there are basic keys to buying dog clothes. It is simple, and if you find the right place is cost effective. Try eBay for finding designer dog clothes
if you are just looking for a generic article of clothing to keep your dog warm then try a petstore. But china made products are not reccomended! Good luck!
